"Out-of-body experiences are an intersection between the
spiritual and physical, as The Secret of the Soul makes clear."

"I have been reading your wonderful
book "The Secret Of The Soul" and have now discovered
why I always seem to have hazy, poor vision in the OBE state.
Thanks to you, I realize that I must demand and expect clarity
and awareness ("Clarity Now!") to receive it. Can't
wait for my next OBE to demand clarity and awareness and see
where my Soul takes me."

Yes, WOW. Adventures Beyond the Body
is definitely one of the best books (top 3 for sure) out there
for people wanting to learn about OBEs. It's not too long, relatively
simple, and very easy to read.
It's an extremely good mix of personal
experience and techniques.

While I admire the writings of Robert
Monroe immensely, I have to admit that he may be a little confusing
for beginners, who may not fully understand or appreciate his
terminology, or find it a bit dry. Not so with William Buhlman's
book, which details not only his fascinating experiences but
does something that no other book I've ever read on this subject
has done, which is to explain this incredible experience scientifically
by drawing comparisons to quantum physics. At first I thought
this would be confusing, and perhaps a bit boring, but to my
surprise I found it not only insightful, but downright fascinating.
Buhlman has a great talent for taking
a difficult and hard-to-understand topic and bringing it down
to earth.
In my opinion, not only the best INSTRUCTIONAL
book on the subject, but the best BOOK on the subject. Period!

Explore new worlds without booking a flight! In Adventures Beyond
the Body, William Buhlman recounts his fascinating experiences
with astral travel, connects this phenomenon with current cosmological
theories, and suggests that we all have the capability to travel
to parallel universes. Don't worry about getting lost--Adventures
is filled with well mapped methods for finding your way out of
your body and into other worlds. Control is Buhlman's mantra,
specifically control over our fear of the unknown. He precisely
addresses the common events that can occur during an out-of-body
experience, taking the fear out of the journey, and allowing
you to focus on living the adventure. --Brian Patterson

"An intriguing guidebook for those who want to venture beyond
the horizon of ordinary reality."
The Best "How To" Book for Your Traveling Experience,
July 8, 2007
By Janice A. Connett (Albuquerque, NM United States)
William Buhlman has not only written a book that captivates
you from the start with his own fantastic experiences of out-of-body
travel, he has taken great care to give end of chapter points
that help the reader remember the important stuff.
Buhlman approaches his subject with a positive thrust, not with
any of the scary warnings that some other writers use. He clearly
knows "who he is" and helps the reader come to understand
that we are ALL powerful Beings that can do what he has done.
He says right off that we do create our own experiences, so we
must think positive to create a positive experience.
Chocked full of interesting and mind stretching experiences,
this little book is devoid of extra padding that is useless to
a reader. Buhlman sums up his final chapters with guided How
To information, but also encourages the reader to explore even
beyond the writer's experiences. He firmly believes that "the
world is your oyster" and you can create a wonderful, exciting
life beyond the veil of flesh that we live here in the 3D world.
One of my library treasures, this book is a goldmine of information.

Adventures beyond the body was a wonderful book. I have been
doing psychic work for many years and have always been interested
in Out-of-Body travel. This book tells a simple and concise way
of accomplishing this task. The book is easy to read and follow.
I would recommend it to anyone interested in this subject.
From the Realm of New Age to a Classic., April 27, 2006

William Buhlman is an incredible author who takes astral projection
or out of body experiences (OBEs)from New Age to credible fact.
The style of Mr. Buhlman's writing does not insult the reader's
intelligence but is presented in clear terms that gain their
confidence. Mr. Buhlman's personal experiences as documented
in his journal entries are compelling, if not leading you to
believe, they certainly draw you towards deeper investigation
of the subject matter. I have been investigating Gnosticism for
many months and realized that OBE is the perfect vehicle to explore
your inner self, thus pointing towards true gnosis.
I recommend William Buhlman as a no nonsense author of choice
or authority on the subject of out of body experience. When I
read Adventures Beyond the Body, I immediately started to read
it a second time. I have never done this with any other author.
Mr. Buhlman does not use any New Age pseudonym to add an aura
of mysticism to his writing because he needs none of those ploys.
His personal experience, superb style and excellent examples
will make you hunger for more. Do not read this book unless you
are prepared to spend many months practicing the techniques he
describes. They will lead you to gnosis and a knowledge of the
nonphysical world held by very few of us as physical beings.
